Packaging Law Forum

Our 2008 event, held June 17 in Chicago, offered an exceptional line-up of speakers and topics. David Acheson, the FDA’s associate commissioner of foods, spoke about the current state of the agency and its plans to better safeguard America’s food and drug supply; Marlena Bordson, division chief of the Illinois Dept. of Public Health’s Division of Food, Drugs and Dairies, offered a behind the scenes look at the department and advice for packagers regarding emergencies and recalls; and Victor Bell, president of the Environmental Packaging International, offered a look at environmental packaging laws around the world.

These presenters and five other experts offered attendees a highly educational day, with plenty of time for Q & A. For more details, see the Packaging Law Forum write-up on Packworld.com.
